The Magic Box for Restful Sleep

This is a seated or lying practice

Find a comfortable quiet place

Please allow at least 20 minutes of uninterrupted attention if possible, especially the first time.

This practice is called The Magic Box for Restful Sleep, and it’s something you should every night before you lie down to go to sleep. This is a wonderful meditation to promote restful sleep.

I invite you to sit up in a comfortable position. The first few nights you do this sit at the edge of the bed in a comfortable dignified posture with your back straight above your hips. Not straining, just very naturally. If you need to, you can go ahead and rest your back against some soft pillows or a chair. The most important thing is to be comfortable and relaxed. After you have done this a few times and can do it quickly you can go ahead and lie down and perform this exercise.
